Unnao gang rape: 'I have faith in judiciary,' says accused MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar

BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, main accused in the Unnao gang rape, was produced before a Lucknow court earlier today. Outside court, Sengar said he has faith in the Indian judicial system.

'I have faith in the judiciary,' Senger told media.

BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar is accused of allegedly raping a minor girl in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh. Sengar was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) on Friday evening.

Yesterday, the Allahabad High Court ordered his immediate arrest, saying he was "influencing" the law and order machinery.

Sengar was taken into custody after intense questioning for 16 hours by a Central Bureau of Investigation team at its office on Naval Kishore Road in Lucknow.
