Sensex adds over 50 points, Nifty above 10,200

Benchmark indices opened the week mildly higher amid volatility and mixed Asian cues on Monday.

Political uncertainty after TDP exit from NDA government last week seems digested by the market.

At 9:20 am, the Sensex was trading at 33,242, up 66.34 points, while the broader Nifty50 was ruling at 10,216, up 21.05 points.

In the broader market, the BSE Midcap and the BSE Smallcap indices gained 0.3 per cent and 0.4 per cent, respectively.
