The Delhi High Court has issued a lookout notice against self-styled godman Veerendra Dev Dixit of Rohini's Adhyatmik Vishvidalaya Ashram.
The ashram owned by Dixithad illegally confined minor girls and women in "animal-likeconditions". A raid conducted in December 2017 revealed that the girls had no privacy even for bathing.
Massive stock of medicines and syringes were also recovered in the raids.
According to reports about 250 women and 48 girls had been released in December.
The court initiated an investigation into the ashram after a PIL was filed by NGO foundation for Social Empowerment informing that several minors and women were illegally confined.
