'5 Cs' is what Rajnath Singh has proposed as permanent solution to Kashmir issue

Union home minister Rajnath Singh has come up with a "5 Cs"formula - Compassion, Communication, Coexistence, Confidence Building & Consistency - as a permanent solution to the Kashmir issue.
Singh, who was addressing the media in Srinagar, said that the situation in the Valley has improved.
Speaking on the issue of Article 35A, the constitutionality of whichhas been challenged in the Supreme Court, the home minister said that the Centre would not do anything which would hurt the sentiments of the people of the state.
He urged the tourists to come to Kashmir as the people of the state are ready to welcome them.
The home minister said that he is ready to talk to all stakeholders to find a solution to the problems faced by the people of the state.
The home minister had announced that the state police personnel will get bullet-proof vehicles and vests in an address to the CRPF personnel in the Anantnag district.
The home minister had, on Sunday, announced thatthe government would consider helicopter services for themovement of the CRPF personnel posted in the state.
"We are ready to give more facilities to our CAPF personnel. Government will consider helicopter services for CRPF in Jammu and Kashmir," he said.
The home minister paid tributes to the sacrifices made by ASI Abdul Rasheed and constable Imtiyaz who were killed in militant attacks in south Kashmir recently.
