Bala wrote: "@superstarrajini - @akshaykumar 's #2Point0 release will not happen in April.. The release is most likely to be postponed by 2 to 3 months.."

According to sources close to the film, work on "2.0"is not anywhere close to completion and that it will take some more time to hit the theatres. The post-production work is expected to wrap up by the month of July and so the makers are eyeing an August release for the film.

The film has been in news for quite some time now -- for its talented star cast, VFX, Akshay Kumar's look among other things.

"2.0" was supposed to release on Diwali 2017, was pushed toJanuary 2018 release owing to pending VFX work and was then finally shifted to April when the makers failed to meet the deadline.
