
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked the US President Donald Trump for donating ventilators to India on Saturday.
The tweet came in response toTrump's tweet.
Donald Trump, on Saturday morning, tweeted that the US will be donating ventilators to India to support the country, and will also be cooperating on development of vaccine for coronavirus treatment.
Modi thanked Trump and stressed on the importance of nations working together to fight the deadly coronavirus, which has affected more than 4 million people worldwide in almost 120 countries.
In an event at the White House, Trump also assured that the US and India are closely working together to develop a vaccine for the virus. "'Many of the people you are talking about are working on the vaccine too. Great scientists and researches. We are working very closely with India too and say hello to your prime minister,'' he told a reporter.
