One person has been killed and 32 injured after the scaffolding of an under-construction building collapsed in Chennai on Saturday night.
The incident took place in Chennai's Kandanchavadi area.
Eight ambulances along with three fire tenders were rushedto the spot.
National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams were also rushed to the spot.
Five of the injured suffered severe head injuries and were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital.
The National Disaster Response Force said that the search has ended from their end.
Vinoj, Assistant Commandant, NDRF said, "From our end search has concluded. One dead body was recovered. 61 personnel were part of this operation."
