Team India pacer Mohammed Shami has now found himself in a rut once again as his wife Hasin Jahan has filed a domestic violence case against the bowler and his family in Kolkata's Alipore Court on Tuesday.
Jahan also sought maintenance from Shami after she allegedly accused the pacer of domestic violence, infidelity, attempt to murder and match-fixing.
Earlier, Hasin Jahan had knocked the doors of IPL's Delhi team CEO Hemant Dua, asking him to bar the Indian pacer from playing in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL).
The fast bowler is currently booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including the attempt to murder, on his wife's complaint.
Jahan has accused Shami of physical and mental abuse, and of having extra-marital affairs.
