Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: Following months of intense campaigning, the nation is about to find out the results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, in which millions of people have cast their ballots in the world's biggest democracy.

To ensure a seamless electoral process, security systems and guidelines have been installed at several counting centresin different cities.

At eight in the morning, the long eighty-day voting process will come to an end with the counting. On Tuesday, the outcomes of the assembly elections in Odisha and Andhra Pradesh will also be announced, opening the door for the new state administrations.

This was the first election in which the INDIA alliancecompeted against the NDA, which had formed coalitions with regional parties. The Congress stated it is convinced that the INDIA alliance will win the election comfortably with 295 seats.

Most exit polls predicted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's return to power for a thirdterm, with the BJP-led NDA projected to gain a large majority in the Lok Sabha elections.

The security services are alreadymaking preparations for Modi's swearing-in ceremony, which is set for next weekend, as per an ANI report.

Conversely, leaders of the INDIA alliance have pushed the Election Commission to make sure that postal ballots are counted and results revealed before the announcement of the EVM results.

The opposition parties unanimously rejected the exit poll prediction and accused the pollsters of influencing the counting process.

"Elaborate security arrangements have been made by Delhi Police for the vote-counting day of Lok Sabha Elections 2024. On June 4, during the counting process, around 70 companies of the forces will be deployed at all seven counting centres across Delhi," said the police.

The Delhi traffic police issued a new advisory ahead of Tuesday's vote counting, listing key roads where traffic restrictions and diversions will start from 5:00 AM to guarantee smooth traffic flow.
