Jharkhand holds kissing contest, for married couples

AJharkhand village has held akissing contest.

The contest, held in Dumaria village, was organised by MLA Simon Marandi.

News reports quoted Marandi as saying the event aimed at reducing the divorce rate and differences between married couples.

The contest was won by the couple sharing the longest kiss.

The kissing contest was part of an annual fair that includes tribal dance, archery, and running.

The kissing contest though was included only this year.
