Kamal Haasan's public rally in Tiruchy today to focus on Cauvery issue

Actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan on Wednesday accusing the Central government of dilly-dallying over the issue of setting up Cauvery Management Board (CMB) said that the public rally in Tiruchy today would focus on Cauvery issue.

We hoped that Centre would set up CMB as per the Supreme Court order in six weeks, but it failed to do so, the actor said reading from a prepared press release.

The Makkal Needhi Maiam founder is organising a rally in Tiruchy today where he is expected to discuss the Cauvery issue in detail.

The primary focus of the public meeting in Tiruchy would be Cauvery water issue, the actor said and added that they would bring to notice of the public the issues surrounding the Cauvery and possible solution.

The actor is also expected to unveil some of the policy guidelines of his party which will be a precursor to overall policy guidelines that will be released in five months.
