Watch: 3 LeT terrorists killed in J&K encounter, 'excellent work' tweets DGP Vaid

Three Lashkar-e-Taiba(LeT) terrorists were gunned down in an encounter with security forces in Handwara in Kupwaradistrict of Jammu and Kashmir.

DGP SP Vaid tweeted saying,"Three LeT terrorists all Pakistanis neutralized in Magam area of Handwara district in North Kashmir. Excellent work!."

"One terrorist was a local of the area, the other a Pak national named Aliwas instrumental in carrying out terrorist activitiesinHajin area,"Vaid said.

The encounter took place after security forces received a tip-off about the presence of terrorists in the area, a search operation was launched immediately resulting in a gunbattle with the three terrorists.
