Jammu and Kashmir: Pakistan violates ceasefire in Poonch, Indian Army retaliates

Pakistan violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch Sector of Jammu and Kashmir early on Wednesday, media reports said.

The Pakistan Army reportedly initiated unprovoked firing of small arms, automatics and mortars from 05.34 am.

The Indian Army is retaliating.

This comes a day after Pakistani troopsviolated ceasefire in Baaz and Nambla regions of Uri in Baramulla on Tuesday.

Last week, an Indian soldier and a woman were killed in separate cases of ceasefire violation in Poonch.
