Now, book coaches, special trains online

Indian Railways have announced a news which definitely will bring a sigh of relief to people whowanted to book coaches or special trains for a wedding, religious tour or any other trip they were wilingto make.

According to the circular by Railway board trains, coaches, saloons on full tariff rate shall now be booked through a single booking system of the Indian Railway Tourism and Catering Corporation (IRCTC).

Under the new system, any individual can make their booking by just contacting to IRCTC and it will book the train or coaches online on the Individual's behalf, making the entire process hassle-free.

A charge of five per cent would be applied to a total fare over and above a 30% service charge on such bookings.

Currently, if an individualneeds to book a train or coach they need to go to the chief booking supervisor or station master of the station from where the journey would begin and provide a written request with details of the journey for booking.

As the process was little hectic for people it used to be handled by travel agencies charging extra for their service.

50,000 of security deposit has been fixed for by the Indian Railway.

For special train minimum, 18 coaches need to be charged; the transaction would an online transaction.
