Four terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
Police have now launched a cordon-and-search operation in Pinjora area of Shopian.
It is the second encounter between security forcesand terrorists in the area in the last 24 hours.
Five terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Shopian on Sunday.
"Five terrorists have been eliminated in operation Reban in Shopian," defence spokesperson Col Rajesh Kalia said after police received information about the presence of terrorists in the area.
