Twinkle Khanna's advice for handling social media trolls: Treat them like cockroaches

Twinkle Khanna who is known for her witty responses was at an event yesterday in Mumbai where she spoke about social media and it’s fallbacks -- trolls.

During the media interaction at the event, Twinkle took a dig at those people who take social media trolls seriously and said that they must merely be treated like cockroaches. Yes, the scary looking pests!

She said, "They come along and they do that to everybody and people who take trolls seriously, I'd rather say they are foolish. Trolls are like cockroaches, once in a while, you spray hit on them and get them out of the way and you go on.”

She also spoke about women going through multiple adjustments in their family life and said, "The problem is that women have been bending over backwards in order to move forward. We are constantly doing that and it is time that we stop. Look at what has been happening in all our lives.

"Whether we are working women or stay-at-home women, child-raising seems to be only a woman's job. We spend 10 years of our lives running to the school, sending their lunch boxes, dressing them as Dracula, Hanuman... Why should it be just a woman's job? Where are the men? Unless they are off fighting wars, they better be there."
