Nawazuddin Siddiqui to play Bal Thackeray in a biopic?

Known for his hard-hitting, realistic performances, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is hailed as one of the most talented actors of current times. The actor literally transforms himself into characters that he essays on screen. Which is why this news has got us a very excited.

News has it that Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be playing Shiv Sena founder, Bal Thackeray in a biopic. According to a report in DNA, the actor is gearing up to play the politician in a film that has been written by Rajyasabha MP and Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut.

The official announcement will be made at an event on December 21 and Amitabh Bachchan will most likely unveil the first look of the film.

While both Nawaz and Raut have refused to confirm the news till now, most are excited to see how the actor will transform himself into radical Hindu, Marathi leader who ruled Mumbai in his heydays.
