Remember when we told you about Abhishek Bachchan donning a turban for his upcoming film Manmarziyan? A new still from the film released today in which Abhishek Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu look fresh as a Punjabi couple getting married in a Sikh temple (Gurudwara).
In the photo, the couple pose as a bride and groom with their onscreen families and what an adorable couple they look!
Speaking with a leading news agency about the film, Abhishek said, ''It is nostalgic for me because I have come here when my father used to shoot his films here. It is truly a heaven on earth and I am very happy to be back. It is still as beautiful as it used to be.”
On shooting in Kashmir for the film, he said, “I am very sure that they will start coming back. In the past couple of years, we have seen a fair amount of films coming from all over India to shoot in Kashmir and I think that trend will grow.”
The film directed by Anurag Kashyap is set to hit the screens this year. It stars Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles.
Meanwhile, there are reports that Priyanka has been approached by filmmaker Shonali Bose to star in a film opposite Abhishek Bachchan. If true, the film will see Dostana co-stars coming back together for a film after several years.
