Like mother, like daughter!

As Janhvi Kapoor walked up on the stage along with father Boney Kapoor and sister Khushi to receive the Best Actress award for her mother Sridevi, she looked a reflection of her star-mother dressed in one of her Kanjeevaram sarees. Sridevi was awarded Best Actress award posthumously at 65th National Film Awards on Thursday for her performance in 'MOM'.

The actress' daughters and husband went to receive the award. Janhvi, whose currently working on her debut film 'Dhadak', wore an ivory and pink Kanjeevram saree which belonged to her mother. In fact, Sridevi had worn the same saree at Telugu actor Ram Charan's wedding a few years back.

Janhvi paired the saree with gold jhumkas.

Janhvi's sister, Khushi also chose an Indian attire for the ceremony. Khushi wore a Manish Malhotra designed raw silk lehenga with benarasi border paired with a contrast dupatta and choli.

"It is a very proud moment for all us. At the same time, a sad moment. We wish she was here with us. She truly deserves it and she has been around for almost 50 years and done almost 300 films (MOM was her 300th film). She has always given her best to all her films. Finally, unfortunately, after she has left, that she has been awarded with this honour," Boney Kapoor was quoted as saying by a news agency.

Sridevi died of accidental drowning in a hotel in Dubai on 24th February.
