Arjun Kapoor reveals why he stood by his father Boney Kapoor, sisters Janhvi and Khushi

Ever since Sridevi's untimely death in February, actor Arjun Kapoor has been like a pillar of support to his bereaved father Boney Kapoor.

The actor who is Boney Kapoor's son from his first wife, Monda, has provided emotional support to not just Boney but also to Sridevi's daughter Janhvi and Khushi to overcome their grief.

Both Arjun and his sister Anshula have stood like a wall in front of their half-siblings and slammed trolls who have targetted Sridevi's daughter post her death.

A blogger wrote about how Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor stood by father Boney Kapoor after Sridevi's sudden death in her blog recently. The blogger credited Arjun and Anshula's behaviour to their late mother Mona Shourie, who raised them in a courtly way.

Thanking the blogger, Arjun took to Twitter recently to explain that how his mother would have done the same had she been alive. "Hey @aakanksha3131 , me & @anshulakapoor represent our mother every single second we live...she would expect us to have been standing next to our father no matter what n be there for Janhvi & Khushi... thank you for ur kind words bout our mother...as she would say god bless u... (sic)."

Mona Kapoor died of cancer in 2012, months before the release of his debut film 'Ishaqzaade'. It was a well-known fact that Arjun and Anshula maintained only a cordial relationship with Sridevi, their father's second wife and her daughters. But her sudden death seemed to have brought the family together.
