Centre asks Separatists to play major role in developing cordial ties with Pakistan

The Centre has asked the Separatists in Jammu and Kashmir, to play a major role in developing cordial ties between India and Pakistan, a media reported.

The government had earlier maintained that they were ready to talk to the Hurriyat conference ifthey were willing for a dialogue.

In an interview to a TV channel, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh had said,"If Hurriyat is ready to talk, we have no problem, we are ready to talk to anyone. Even if Pakistan comes for a dialogue, we are ready for it".

Days before the centre had also offered the separatists an opportunity for a dialogue to discuss measures to maintain peace and normality.
