Superstar Rajinikanth on Sunday said that Centre would earn the wrath of Tamil Nadu people if it fails to constitute the Cauvery Management Board on an urgent basis.

Speaking to reporters in Chennai before leaving for the protest venue, the actor-turned-politician said that the centre is being blamed for dragging its feet, Rajinikanth said the central government would earn Tamil Nadu's wrath if the board isn't constituted on an urgent basis. "There has already been a delay," he said

The artistes have assembled at Chennai's Valluvar Kottam to demand setting up of Cauvery Management Board.

Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Dhanush, Vijay, Surya, Sathyaraj, Sivakumar, Nassar, Vishal, Karthi and Sivakarthikeyan are taking part in a protest over demand for formation of CMB.

Music maestro Ilayaraja is present at the protest venue.
