Brother-in-law of Haryana singer Harshita Dahiya, who was shot dead on Tuesday, has accepted during the interrogation that he was behind her murder, said Desh Raj, deputy SP of Panipat.
Haryana Police has sent Harshita's brother-in-law Dinesh to four-daypolice custody over her murder. He was earlier accused of raping the 22-year-old singer and dancer Harshita Dahiya.
According to a media report, Harshita was a witness to the killing of her mother a few months ago in Delhi.
On Tuesday, Harshita was shot on her way home from a performance when two men stopped her car and shot her.Harshita died on the spot.
