'Bonding over the Radio' : Ruskin Bond goes on air to recite famous tales

Prasar Bharati has announced thatAll India Radio (AIR) will broadcast a series of short stories by legendary author Ruskin Bond. The tales will be read by the writer himself.

The series, which commenced on Friday, are available on Akashvani's terrestrial as well as digital platforms, an AIR statement said.

The series is titled'Bonding over the Radio' and willinitially run for 15 days. Ruskin Bond will be reading out handpicked stories of famous writers.

The tales have been recorded by the author over phone from hisMussoorie cottage. The tales will have different genres, from horror to fiction to family tales.

The broadcasts will be on-airdaily on NewsOnAir (Prasar Bharati's mobile app), FM Gold, Indraprastha and AIR Live News 24x7 at 7.10 am and 10.10 pm.
