
Campaigning for the second phase of Gujarat assembly elections kicked-off with Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing a rally in Bhabhar, Gujarat earlier today.
The Prime Minister, while addressing a rally in Surat yesterday, attacked Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar for calling him a "neech admi".
In today's rally, PM Modi touched upon development issues in the area and attacking Congress' for its inability to prove itself.
"People of Patan and Banaskantha know the difference between Congress and BJP. When there were floods here Congress MLAs were relaxing in Bengaluru whereas BJP leaders were working with people, helping in relief operations," noted PM Modi.
PM Modi's election campaignfor the second phase of Gujarat elections started today. Polls will be conducted on Thursday on a total of 93 seats in the second phase.
Voting for the first phase of 89 seats will begin tomorrow. Counting of votes will take place on December 18.
PM Modi is now expected to visit Kallol, Gandhinagar and will address a rally in Himmatnagar. He will also hold a rally in Nikol, Ahmedabad later in the day today.
