BJP president Amit Shah discharged from AIIMS

BJP President Amit Shah has been discharged from Delhi's AIIMS hospital where he had been admitted with swine flu.

The announcement was made by BJP national spokesperson Anil Baluni.

"Shah was discharged at 10.20AM from AIIMS after recovering from swine flue," PTI quoted an AIIMS official as saying.

The BJP's IT cell head Amit Malviya also tweeted that Shah had been discharged fromhospital.

"BJP President Shri Amit Shah has been discharged from AIIMS. He is fine and back home now. Thanks for all your wishes and messages," Malviya tweeted.

Shah had been admitted to AIIMS on Wednesday night after he complained of fever and chest congestion.

“I have been diagnosed with swine flu and treatment is on. By God’s grace, your love and wishes, will recover soon,” he had tweeted then.

Doctors had earlier said Shah's treatment was going well and that he would be released in a day or two.
