Car of BJP Chief JP Nadda's wife stolen in New Delhi, complaint filed: Report

The car of Mallika Nadda, the wife of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President JP Nadda, was stolen from a service centre in India's national capital New Delhi, according to media reports on Sunday (Mar 24).
Mallika's car, a Toyota Fortuner, was taken to a service centre in New Delhi's Govindpuri, following which it was stolen.
The car had been entrusted to driver Joginder Singh at the service centre.
According to a report by India Today, Singh filed a complaint on March 19, and the police registered a case and started searching for the car.
In the complaint, Singh said that on March 19, he parked the Fortuner at the service centre at around 3 pm and then went home to have lunch. When he came back, the car was missing, the report said.

The Fortuner bears a Himachal Pradesh registration number. CCTV footage showed the car was headed towards Gurugram, the report added. The vehicle remains untraced.
