Army’s Northern Command chief visits forward areas in Ladakh

Lieutenant General Ranbir Singh, General Officer Commanding, Northern Command visited forward areas to review the security situation and operational preparedness in eastern Ladakh on Tuesday.

The Army Commander was accompanied by the Fire and Fury Corps commander.

“The Army Commander was briefed in detail by the General Officer Commanding Trishul Division about the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness in eastern Ladakh,” the Army said in a statement.

The Army has said that during his interaction with the troops, the Army Commander appreciated their hard work and dedication in their brave endeavour to safeguard the nation’s borders while operating in hostile terrain and adverse weather conditions.
