Angry wife ties husband to bed, gives him electric shocks after he takes away her phone

A woman in the Indian city of Agra has been absconding after she reportedly gave her husbandelectric shocksafter tying him to the bed. According to media reports, the woman committed the crime after her husband took away her phone.
When the couple's 14-year-old son tried to intervene in the matter and save his father, he also received beatings from the woman. Currently, the husband has been kept in medical care.
How did the incident unfold?
As per a report in The Times Of India, Pradeep Singh had married Baby Yadav in 2007. The man, in his complaint, said that he had noticed that his wife was talking to someone over the phone lately.

He then discussed the issue with her family and they asked him to take away her phone, not knowing what was in store for him.
When Singh snatched his wife's phone on May 18, he was sedated by herat nightand tiedto a bed. She then thrashed Singh with a cricket bat and also subjected him to electric shocks. The husband suffered severe injuries in his head and body. When the woman's son tried to intervene, he was also assaulted by her.

"My wife used to talk to someone every day on her mobile phone. I objected to it and informed her family. At their request, I took her mobile phone. This made her angry, and she threatened to kill me and my son. On the night of May 18, she sedated me and subjected me to brutal torture. She repeatedly struck me with a cricket bat, causing severe injuries on my head and body. She also gave me electric shocks. When my son attempted to intervene and save me, she assaulted him as well,” said Singh, in his statement, as reported by The Times Of India.
As per the report, SHO Kishni police station Anil Kumar said that the police had filed a case against the woman. "A case under IPC sections 307, 328 and 506 registered against the accused woman, who is on the run,” the SHO said.
