
Amitabh Bachchan will be adding another feather to his illustrious cap. The superstar, who has ruled Bollywood for close to five decades will be conferred with the honorary D Litt from Rabindra Bharati University.
The actor has been invited to attend the convocation on the occasion of '25e Baishak' (Rabindranath Tagore's birth) celebrations on May 8.
The actor has in the past received 4 honorary Doctorate degrees from other prestigious universities including one from The Queensland University of Technology.
However, the actor has never been a fan of using the title 'Dr' with his name. "No never want to use Dr as title for me. There is only one Dr Bachchan, and that is my father. Did his PhD from Cambridge University," the actor had once tweeted.
