All Dera property to be attached to pay for damages: High court

Over 30 people have been killed in the violence that followed the conviction for rape of Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh
The Punjab and Haryana high court has said all the property of the Dera Sacha Sauda is to be attached to pay for damages done by the Dera's followers.
Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh was on Friday convicted of raping two of his woman followers by a CBI court in Panchkula. The case dates back to 2002.
Minutes after the judgment was passed, Ram Rahim's followers -- who had been gathering in the town -- went on the rampage.
Over 30 people have been killed in the violence that followed, and as many as 250 injured.
The Dera Sacha Sauda describes itself as a spiritual and welfare organisation. It claims to have 50 million followers.
Its headquarters in Sirsa, Haryana -- on which the Army, Police, and Rapid Action Force marched on Saturday -- is spread over a 100 acres.
It has its own schools, hospital, farm, and cinema hall.
