The next phase of elections will be held on May 13. PM Narendra Modi will address three poll rallies today one in Maharashtra and  two in Telangana. He will also hold a roadshow in Odisha's Bhubaneswar.</p>

Prime Minister Modi had a busy busy itinerary during his visit to Odisha today, including a roadshow from Mastercanteen Square to Vani Vihar at 6 pm. After the roadshow, he will stay overnight in the state capital.

Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya criticized the Congress party regarding Mani Shankar Aiyar's comments on Pakistan. He suggested that those who lack faith in the Indian Army should consider moving to Pakistan.

Following Sam Pitroda's remarks on color discrimination, Congress leader Aiyar stirred up another controversy when a video clip surfaced of him stating that Pakistan is a nation and proposing that India should initiate dialogue with them.

BJP State Secretary Priyanka Tibrewal spoke on the Sandeshkhali incident. She said, "It took TMC three months to bring forth a fabricated video...BJP did not start all this. The local women gave the entire incident a form of agitation. They told about the atrocities that happened to them and whatever they had to face...The people of the local villages brought all this to light...How does CM know about was raped & who was not."

On Maharashtra Congress president Nana Patole's statement regarding Ram Temple, Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis said, "These are those people of Congress party who had challenged the existence of Lord Ram by giving an affidavit in the Supreme Court of India, who had also challenged Ram Setu existence by giving an affidavit. They used to ask the question of whether Ram is imaginary or was it real?"

"They deliberately made the Ram temple issue diverted but Prime Minister Modi got the decision from the court on it and after that, the Ram temple was built. So if the credit for it goes to anyone then it goes to PM Modi and he pays tribute to all the people who tried for 495 years to build the Ram temple. Congress has not done anything and the biggest thing is that they boycotted the consecration ceremony of Ram temple. Those who deny Ram and boycott the temple, I believe have no right to say this," he added.

Sujanpur, Himachal Pradesh: Union Minister Anurag Thakur said, "The leaders of Congress are living in India but they speak the language of Pakistan. It appears that Pakistan is hands in glove with Congress. Congress and its allies repeatedly talk about crushing Sanatan Dharma, disrespecting Hindu Dharma. This ideology of Congress shows that Congress retorts to appeasement politics with the support of Pakistan to garner votes...They want to make the Indian Army weak. A senior Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar suggested that New Delhi should engage in dialogue with Pakistan to avoid any potential consequences, including the use of an atomic bomb by the South Asian neighbour against India. Aiyar remarks came during an interview he gave to Chill Pill on April 15.

In a now widely circulated clip, Aiyar spoke of the need for dialogue with Pakistan and warned that failure to so that could lead to dire consequences. He said "India should give respect to Pakistan as it has an atom bomb! If we don't give them respect, they'll think of using an atom bomb against India."

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on Friday that the INDIA bloc would emerge victorious in the state of Uttar Pradesh, adding, "...a storm of INDIA Alliance is coming to Uttar Pradesh."

Addressing a rally in Kanauj, Gandhi said, "I give it to you in writing, BJP is going to face its biggest defeat in the country, here in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh paves the way for the country. Uttar Pradesh has made up its mind that a change has to set in here, that a change has to set in in India and that is why decision has been made."

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini said on Friday that the the ruling BJP would win the trust vote again if asked to prove majority in the House. Haryana is currently seeing a political crisis after three independent MLAs were withdrawing their support from the state government, and were backing the opposition Congress.

Addressing a press conference, Chief Minister Saini played down the opposition (Congress and former BJP ally JJP) claims that the BJP was presiding over a minority government.

"Opposition leaders have nothing to do with the people and only want to mislead them. They should give in writing to the governor as to how many MLAs they have in their support and not mislead the people," Saini told reporters.

Repolling is underway on Friday (May 10) at two polling booths in Bihar's Khagaria Lok Sabha seat, amid tight security arrangements. The voting began at 7 am at booth numbers 182 and 183, falling under the Beldaur assembly segment of the Khagaria parliamentary constituency, and will continue till 6 pm.
