After wooing the audience with a blockbuster hit ‘Aquaman’, makers are now set to bring a sequel to the film. Warner Bros. is bringing the same guys who penned the first film on the aquatic superhero -- David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick. They co-wrote the first film. It is, however, unclear whether director James Wan will return to helm the project.

Tentatively titled ‘Aquaman 2’, Wan might turn producer for the film along with Peter Safran.

‘Aquaman’ grossed $1.090 billion worldwide, making it thehighest-grossing Warner Bros. title of all-time. It usurped ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ that recorded $1.084 billion, according to figures revealed by Box Office Mojo.

It released in December last year and went on to set cash registers ringing throughout the first month of the new year.Read film's review here.
