'War' teaser: Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff take on-screen rivalry to the next level

With the release of its teaser, fans have gotten their first dose of information about the movie.

Ever since the projectwas announced, there wasa lot of speculation regardingits name. Earlier believed to be called 'Fighters' and then 'Hrithik v Tiger', the moviehas been finally titled'War'.

" 'War' is the only title that could have delivered on this big promise and justifies the level of an action spectacle that the film is trying to present to audiences globally," Anand said in a statement.

The director has also promised a hugeshowdown in the film.

"When you bring two of the biggest and the best action superstars of India in one film and pit them against each other, you need a title that justifies the promise of a massive showdown. Hrithik and Tiger will be seen going at each other ferociously and mercilessly and audiences will want to see who outwits whom in this incredible fight," he added.

Thetitle of the film and its teaserwere unveiled on Monday by Hrithik and Tiger on their Twitter handles.

In the teaser, the duo can be seen performing some high octane stunts and jaw-dropping action sequences as they try to kill each other. Even though Tiger had earlier stated that Hrithik is his on-screen idol, in the film it looks like he just wants to end him once and for all.

The fifty-three-second teaser also shows Vaani Kapoor romancing Hrithik Roshan and flaunting her bikini bod as the words "This year there will be war" appear in the background.

Bringing their on-screen rivalry to real life, Tiger Shroff released the teaser on Twitter and wrote, "@iHrithik, your moves may be a little rusty, let me show you how it’s done!"
