When Karan Johar had made 'Student Of The Year' in 2012, no one would have predicted that Bollywood would be getting three big stars from the film. Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra are now household names with multiple hits in their kitty. 7 years on, Karan Johar passes on the baton to director Puneet Malhotra as he presents a fresh batch of students in the sequel.
The first posters of the film were released on Wednesday and Thursday. Featuring Tiger Shroff, Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria- the posters also give a glimpse into the ultimate challenge that the new batch of students would have to take part in to win the coveted 'Student of the year' title.

The first installment of the movie which released in 2012 saw the launch of Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra into Bollywood. The film was directed by Karan Johar. 'SOTY2`, starring Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria besides Shroff, has been directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar. The trailer will be out 12th April while the movie is slated to release on 10th May. The film also has Will Smith making a cameo appearance in one of the songs- glimpses of which we got to see a few days back in Smith's web show 'Bucket List.'
