One Piece episode 1102 release date, time, how to watch and more
One Piece
One of the most popular and longest-running anime series, One Piece, is based on Eiichiro Oda's famed manga. It first debuted on Fuji TV in October 1999. A total of 1101 episodes have been released so far and the next episode is scheduled to release later this week.
Titled Sinister Schemes! The Operation to Escape Egghead, episode 1102 is scheduled to release on Sunday, April 28 at 9:30 am JST (6 am IST).
The episode will first air on Fiji TV. You can catch the episode stream online on Crunchyroll after a little delay. It will also premiere on Netflix the same day. However, you will need subscriptions for both platforms.

The upcoming episode is expected to properly introduce Dr. Vegapunk. The Straw Hats will be put in a tough spot, having to protect Vegapunk from the Marines. Will they succeed or have another defeat in the face of the Navy, like Sabaody was?
The story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, who gains powers unintentionally by eating a Devil Fruit. With his crew, named the Straw Hat Pirates, Luffy explores the Grand Line in search of the world's ultimate treasure known as the "One Piece" in order to become the next Pirate King.

One Piece has been going on for the last 25 years and some people criticise the anime series for its slow pace. However, according to Eiichiro Oda, the pace isn't even under his control.
In an interview published in the Sound & Recording Magazine in 2012 with Yasutaka Nakata, Eiichiro Oda said, "Characters work on their own, and the reader knows that too, and when I force a character to move for the sake of the story, they point out, "There's no way this character would do this." That's why Luffy... It's the most troublesome thing. If I don't interpose various episodes and put the brakes on, the boss will be defeated right away. The characters are alive."
