Things aren’t shaping well for Sean “Diddy” Combs as the music mogul is currently in jail and his bail has been denied twice. With no access to privileges in his cell, Sean “Diddy” is reportedly being made to sleep on the floor with rats around him.
Sean awaits trial on the racketeering and sex trafficking case.
As he waits for the trial, it has been reported that the alleged living conditions in jail are not great. He was locked up in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Centre after his arrest in Manhattan.
Diddy has been assigned to the Special Housing Unit, where he is reportedly forced to sleep on the floor. Things have gotten worse for the jail officials since Sean refuses to eat the food in jail because he fears it will be tampered with. The SHU, often referred to as the hole, is a “small, windowless room, less than 10x10 feet".
The inmates have also been giving him a hard time as reports emerge that they taunt him day and night with the lyrics from his songs. Some inmates shout lyrics of Bad Boy for Life lyrics as they cross the SHU.
Diddy allegedly has “no books, no TV and minimal privileges”.
Diddy is living alone in the hole and prosecutors reportedly requested that all of his calls should be monitored.
Meanwhile, Sean "Diddy" Combs' lawyer is currently working on an appeal to get him released from prison. According to court documents obtained by a publication, Alexandra Shapiro from Sean's legal team filed a notice to appeal after the rapper was denied bail twice. The actual appeal brief will be submitted soon.
