Meghan Markle thinks Prince Harry wanting to reunite with Beckhams is ‘ridiculous’

Prince Harry wishes to fix his friendship with David and Victoria Beckham but Meghan Markle reportedly isn't too keen on the idea. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were once close with the famous celebrity couple; however, their relationship has reportedly gone sour since the two left the Royal Family.

According to a source, Harry wants to reconnect with the Beckhams because he thinks it might help him rebuild his relationship with his brother Prince William. Harry and William have reportedly not spoken for years, especially after Harry levelled some serious accusations against his brother in his memoir Spare.

Since Prince William is still close with David and Victoria, Harry believes fixing things with the Beckhams might soften things between him and his brother.

However, Meghan doesn’t see it the same way. A source told Closer magazine that Meghan feels it’s unnecessary to worry about what the Beckhams think. Instead, she wants to make connections with more influential people, like US Vice President Kamala Harris.

"As far as she's concerned, it's beneath them to be begging for approval," the source told the publication. "But Harry knows how much William values David’s friendship, and his hope is that getting David’s seal of approval could help soften things with his brother."

There have also been reports that Victoria Beckham was never a big fan of Meghan. A source once said that Victoria was friendly but didn’t care much about staying in touch. Meanwhile, David Beckham remains close with Prince William and King Charles, which makes Harry even more eager to rebuild their friendship.
