
Desperate times call for desperate measures it seems as reports suggest that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry tried reaching out to Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton before her public outing during the Trooping the Colour ceremony.
It was the first time in six months that Kate made an official public appearance amid her health struggles. Kate is currently getting chemotherapy for an undisclosed type of cancer that was detected earlier this year. It was in March that Kate confirmed she was battlingcancer.
As for Meghan Markle who had a fallout with the royals, and moved to America after giving up on royal titles and responsibilities, is said to be trying to mend her feud with Kate. A source cited in Closer said that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have contacted Kate Middleton to make peace.
"Meghan's desperate to come across as the bigger person and end this feud between them – appearing like some sort of royal saviour could only do her image good. And, despite all their bad blood, her heart does go out to Kate - she can only imagine how hard this situation must be for her,” the insider told Closer while referring to Kate battling cancer.
The source added, "Meghan has made it clear she'd love nothing more than to move past all the nonsense and find a way towards healing for everyone's sake. She's ready to let the anger and bitterness go.”
Meghan and Kate's relationship has been strained for a while now. Ever since Meghan and Harry got married, things haven’t been smooth between the two couples. Meghan and Harry subsequently moved to the US in 2020. They havepublicly criticised Kate several times. In an interview with Oprah Winfrey and Harry’s 2023 autobiography, "Spare", they called out both Kate and Prince William.
