Andy Cohen is apologetic for spreading conspiracy theories about the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton before she announced that she’s battling cancer. Kate had been absent for several weeks post abdominal surgery with many thinking the worst of things as a reason for her absence from the public eye.
Andy Cohen was made to feel guilty about his reportage about Kate’s health. Fans of the British royal family had been demanding an apology ever since he remarked on a video released by TMZ which claimed to show the princess out with her husband William.
Shortly after TMZ posted the video, Andy responded, “That ain’t Kate…..”

On SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, the TV host apologised and said, “I just want to say, I am heartbroken by the news about Princess Kate.” He added, “I think someone on Sky News called me a ‘numpty’ during that whole conversation and they were right. We are all praying for Princess Kate and King Charles.”
Kate Middleton is suffering from cancer
Notably, on March 22, Kate Middleton announced in a video message that she has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy.
“In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London, and at the time, it was thought that my condition was noncancerous. The surgery was successful,” she said in the video message. She then said tests after her operation in January found that cancer “had been present.” She said it has “taken me time to recover from major surgery in order to start my treatment,” and it has taken her “time to explain everything” to children George, Charlotte and Louis.
