Kim Kardashian's ex Pete Davidson reveals the one drug he 'can't quit'

Pete Davidson never shies away from talking about his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction. The comedian actor often talks about his sobriety journey to inspire others. And while he has quit hard drugs like coke, ketamine and pills, there is one drug he can't stop consuming.

Pete made the candid statement at his "Pete Davidson: Rehab Tour" in Atlantic City on Saturday. He said, "I did coke and ketamine and f**king all the pills and all that s**t. All I have is weed left, so it’s almost over, but I’m holding on for a little bit longer."

Back in 2023, Pete went to rehab to recover from substance abuse, depression, PTSD and borderline personality disorder.

In his Netflix special Turbo Fonzarelli, the comedian shared that he was on ketamine for almost "two and a half, three years" and he even "attended Aretha Franklin's funeral under the influence".

"It’s embarrassing when you’re not on ketamine anymore, though… I’m embarrassed. I was out and about like that. That’s not cool, you know?" Davidson said. "I was at Aretha Franklin’s funeral like that. Yeah, I have to live with that. You know what I mean? She’ll never know, but still, that’s not the point."

"If she was there, she would probably be like, ‘Hey, who are you? And what the f*** are you doing at my funeral?’ It’s embarrassing. I’m so high, I thought it would be a good idea to go up to her family and go, 'Hey, I’m just here to pay my R-E-S-P-E-C-T…S'," he added.

In the Netflix special, he also revealed what motivated him to stop using ketamine. The comedian shared that turning 30 made him realise that he cannot continue the same lifestyle he had in his 20s. "I had to stop doing hard drugs because [you] can’t be a drug addict in your 30s," he said. "Doing drugs in your 20s is fine. It’s like an excuse. You’re like: ‘I’m finding myself.’ It’s cute, you know?"
