Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor team up for Karan Johar's 'Dostana 2'

It is finally confirmed. After days of speculations and rumours, Karan Johar has announced the cast of his next film 'Dostana 2'. A sequel of 'Dostana' which released in 2008, the new film will feature Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead.

Johar who had teased fans on Wednesday about an announcement, took to Twitter to announced the cast of the film on Thursday morning. "The return of the franchise with unlimited madness! @TheAaryanKartik, #Janhvi & a soon to be launched fresh face - making it the trio for #Dostana2, directed by @CollinDcunha. Watch out for the third suitable boy! (sic)" Johar tweeted.

The film will have a third lead and no actor has been finalised yet. Reports suggest that the film may introduce a new face as the third lead.
'Dostana 2' will be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and helmed by Collin D'Cunha.

The 2008 film starred Priyanka Chopra, Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham. It was directed by Tarun Mansukhani.
