Jr NTR expresses his wish to be part of Marvel universe, shares why he's loves Iron Man

Did you know the one dream of Jr NTR that is still not fulfilled? Well, it's NTR's wish to be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The Telugu superstar has several times previously expressed his wish to be part of the Marvel family. The actor, who has been known as a prolific actor in Indian cinema and has gained international recognition for his role in SS Rajamouli's RRR, has shared his desire to work in MCU as he went on to talk about the admiration he has for Tony Stark/Iron Man.

While promoting his recent movie Devera: Part 1, he was asked about his Hollywood ambitions. Talking about the same, he told the Associated Press, “I’ve always said that I’d love being a part of the Marvel world, because Marvel, for me, is very special.''

Talking as a die-hard fanboy of Iron Man, he said, ''Iron Man is definitely one of my favourite characters because you don’t need to have superpowers, you don’t need to be god to have powers, you know, he is just a human being. With the kind of mind he has, it’s so simple that everybody is a superhero. You, me, we all are. So, Marvel is something very exciting for me and I’d like to be a part of the Marvel world.”

Not just Jr NTR, but his two sons are also big fans of Marvel. And they are also one of the reasons why he wants to be part of the MCU.

“Because, for me, my kids love Marvel too. If I am placed in the Marvel world, it’d be such a proud moment for them. I want to really see that in their eyes,” he said.

NTR and his wife Lakshmi Pranathi are parents of two sons — Abhay Ram and Nandamuri Bhargava Ram.

Meanwhile, on the work front, NTR's film Devara is currently in theatres. In the action-thriller, the actor plays the double role as a son and father duo.

Apart from him, the movie also stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles.
