Janhvi Kapoor gets discharged from hospital, confirms Boney Kapoor

Janhvi Kapoor is finally home! The B-town actress has been discharged from the hospital after getting treatment for severe food poisoning. Her father and producer Boney Kapoor confirmed the news and revealed that the actress is much better now.

"She was discharged this morning. She is much better now," Boney told Zoom TV.

According to reports, the actress returned to Mumbai from Chennai on Tuesday. The next day, she started feeling unwell and decided to stay back home. When her health deteriorated, she was taken to the hospital. After attending an Indian billionaire's son's wedding, the actress resumed promotional activities for her next film, Ulajh.

While Janhvi is on the road to recovery, her family and close ones, including her father, sister Khushi Kapoor, and rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya, have been supporting the actress and taking care of her.

The actress will soon resume workon her upcoming projects. She will feature next in Ulajh as Suhana Bhatia, India's youngest deputy high commissioner in Indian Foreign Services. Directed by Sushanshu Saria, the film also features Adil Hussain, Rajesh Tailang, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi. It will hit theatres on August 2.

The actress is also set to make her Telugu debut in NTR Jr's Devara: Part 1. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film also stars Saif Ali Khan.
