Parineeti Chopra, Sidharth Malhotra's film 'Jabariya Jodi' has garnered enough attention thanks to the film's peppy soundtrack as well the lead couple's super hectic promotional activities. 

The film was scheduled to release on August 2 and clash at the box office with Sonakshi Sinha starrer 'Khandaani Shafakhana'but latest reports suggest that the film's release has been pushed by a week. 'Jabariya Jodi' will now be releasing on August 9. 

According to reports, the release date was changed to avoid clutter at the box office as many films are releasing on August 2 and the previous week’s releases, 'Judgementall Hai Kya' and 'Arjun Patiala' are still going strong.

Exhibitors requested producers  Ekta Kapoor and Shailesh Singh to change the release date to avoid clash. 

The August 9 release will also help in terms of earning as August 12 is Eid and a holiday for many. The film will have a week's run before the big release of August 15 when 'Mission Mangal' and 'Batla House' release.
