Varun Dhawan is exploring new paths. Bollywood actor who doesn't need an introduction and enjoys a following of millions has made his debut on LinkedIn, a professional networking siteto explore new career opportunities.

Moving ahead from Instagram, Facebook and X, the actor made his debut on the new social media platform on Nov 21.

Varun, an established actor and public figure, joining a social media platform that people use to grow their businesses, make professional connections, and find jobs among other things, was somewhat surprising for his followers. But looking at the actor's bio, it seems like he has done quite preparations before joining the platform.

On the platform, he described himself as an ''actor, investor and assistant director.''

In his bio, the actor wrote, ''Starting a new chapter - Bringing my journey to LinkedIn."

Elaborating further on his decade-long acting career, movies and his time in theentertainment world, he wrote further, ''I’m excited to join the LinkedIn community! As someone who's been working in the film industry for over a decade, I’ve had the privilege of learning a lot about the importance of hard work, teamwork, and constantly evolving.''

''What excites me most about being here is the opportunity to connect with professionals from all industries – not just entertainment. As of now, the Bhediya actor already has 31,496 followers on the platform.

Varun also added some background details of his career and education such as working as an assistant director in Dec 2008 and holding a bachelor's degree in Business administration and management from Nottingham Trent University.
