Irrfan Khan, Radhika Madan to start shooting for 'Hindi Medium' sequel in Rajasthan?

Fans rejoiced as Irrfan Khan on Tuesday confirmed his comeback to movies after a year of medical leave. Earlier on Monday, the actor was papped at the Mumbai Airport where the actor uncovered his face for the camera perhaps indicating that he was indeed doing better. 

Now reports suggest that Irrfan is all set to start shooting for the sequel of 'Hindi Medium' which is reportedly being called 'English Medium'. The actor is currently in Rajasthan for some personal work and will soon be joined by actress Radhika Madan as they begin shooting for the film. Radhika is playing Irrfan's daughter in the film. 

News also has it the after Rajasthan the crew will be shooting the next schedule in London, a recce of which has already been done by the team. Kareena Kapoor, who plays a lawyer in the film, will be joining the team in London after she wraps up for 'Good News'. 

'Hindi Medium' was helmed by Saket Chaudhary whereas the sequel will be directed by Homi Adajania. 

In March 2018, Irrfan had left for London to get treated for a neuroendocrine tumour. The actor had shared a long post on Twitter about his illness and that how he was taking a break to get better.
