Ice Spice's cheeky reaction to audience booing at Taylor Swift song 'Karma' goes viral

Ice Spice and Taylor Swift

American rapper Ice Spice seems unbothered by concert-goers booing at her collab song with Taylor Swift titled "Karma". As the artist took over the stage at the Rolling Loud Europe Festival in Austria on Sunday, July 7, the crowd started showing thumbs-down gestures and booing as the song "Karma" began to play in the speakers.

Like a true queen, Ice Spice blew kisses back to the crowd, proving that such reactions don't bother her and that she will continue to perform the Taylor Swift song if she wishes to.

As a video of Ice Spice's reaction went viral online, her fans came forward to praise the rapper. A netizen wrote, "She kinda ate it with the blowing kiss tho." Another commented, "People need to chill with the booing though." A third user said, "We love sisters who stick together!" "I’d be booing them. If you don’t like one of my friends that I collaborated with and you’re in MY audience, you can boo yourself," wrote a fourth.

Last year in May, Taylor released the remix version of "Karma", featuring Ice Spice, forMidnights (Til Dawn Edition), a deluxe version of her Midnights album.

After the song's release, Taylor opened up about the collaboration in a Spotify audio clip. She said, "Collaborating with Ice Spice on 'Karma' was one of the most natural things. She reached out through her team, just kind of saying, 'Hey, Ice has been a big fan of Taylor's since she was a little kid, would love to collaborate if that was ever something that came about.'"

She continued, "I had been listening to her nonstop — like getting ready for my tour, I was just listening to Ice Spice constantly. So I immediately got her number and said, 'Hey, would you wanna do your version of 'Karma'? Do you relate to this?' She jumped in headfirst."
