The wait for the most epic battle between Godzilla and King Kong will have to wait for another year as the makers recently announced that the much-anticipated film will not release in March next year but 8 months later.
The release date for the film has been pushed from March 13, 2020 to November 20, 2020.
‘Godzilla vs Kong’ is to be a crossover of the two monsters in one film as they are pitted against one another. It is likely to follow ‘Godzilla’ (2014), ‘Kong: Skull Island’ (2017) and this year's ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’. While the first two films did wonders at the box office, the third had a lacklustre time at the box office.
‘Godzilla vs Kong’ is helmed by Adam Wingard and will star Julian Dennison, Brian Tyree Henry, Alexander Skarsgard and Demian Bichir.
