Eminem to be a 'grandpa' soon! Rapper's daughter Hailie expecting first baby with husband Evan McClintock

On Thursday, rapper Eminem announced that he will soon be a grandfather. In an emotional music video, he revealed that his daughter Hailie Jade Mathers is expecting her first baby with her husband Evan McClintock.

In the Temporary music video, the rapper and his daughter's close bond takes centre stage. It has several adorable moments from Eminem and his daughter's archive that show the father-daughter duo's love for each other.

It shows Hailie's transition from a little girl to now a married woman. At the end of the video, Hailie is seen surprising Eminem with a Detroit Lions jersey featuring the word “grandpa” on the back.

The music video also shows Eminem getting emotional seeing the sonogram image as Grey sings, “The bad days will start to get better/ Then we'll be laughin' together/ And tonight when I cry/ The tears are temporary.”

In May this year, Hailie Jade tied the knot with her longtime partner, whom she met in 2016. While announcing the happy news on Instagram, she wrote, "Waking up a wife this week. We couldn’t have asked for a better, more beautiful weekend celebration. So so many happy tears were shed, laughs & smiles were had, & so much love was felt. Evan and I are feeling so grateful for all of the family & friends that travelled to support us and be a part of this new chapter of our lives as husband & wife."

Congratulations are in order for the mom-to-be. "Eminem is a real one. Father goals. Congrats on being a grandfather," wrote a user on YouTube. Another said, "Eminem being a grandad is the most beautiful news I’ve ever heard today. He just had to make me cry." A third comment read, "This little girl was the reason many rap careers were ruined for decades. Em loves that little girl."
